    HI Charles
Now that you are unable to join us I wonder whether there is someone you
could recommend to give a presentation on on-line socialisation. I am
looking for someone like you with lots of experience of on-line learning and
who is witty and entertaining (just like you)
    yours expectantly
    Norah

  • 3.  Can you keynote in Wales on cybersocialization?

    Posted 05-12-2003 12:51
    Hi Norah
I'm uncertain whether you intended to send the below message to just
me or to all of our Mg-Ed-Dv virtual community, as you did. However, I know
lots of Mg-Ed-Dv-ers would jump at the chance to go to Wales and meet with
your group or do it via some sort of e-group meeting. (If you are in that
category start up a dialogue with Norah about it.) Hmmmm. Whom should I
suggest to you? One person who fits the bill is Paul Shrivastava. He is
very very witty and knowledgeable about the topics near to your cyberheart.
Beyond that he is a very sharing person who will readily offer you brilliant
    ideas to exploit. See:
    http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/shrivast/Boss.html
Again, if other of you mg-ed-dv-ers are great speakers and have validated
know-how related to cybersocialization get in touch with Norah:
    njones2@glam.ac.uk .
    Cybercollegially,
    Charles Wankel

    Hi Norah,
I normally would be tickled heliotrope to participate. However, I
am leaving New York for a fortnight of teaching in Vietnam on June 13th,
returning June 29th, at the University of Banking in Ho Chi Minh City and
Hanoi. Given the time difference and complications associated with
accessing and using other people's equipment in Saigon (which is sort of the
Manhattan or downtown area of Ho Chi Minh City) where I will be on the
particular dates you mentioned, I feel I must decline in this micromoment.
However, keep me on your short list for future such endeavors.
    Best regards,
    Charlie

    HI Charles
how are you today, weather here raining as usual, did you know we supply
    half of England with water!
Anyway to the point. We are organising an end of project conference and I
mentioned the work you are doing and we wondered if could provide an input
on collaboration world wide through e-learning. This address could be via
video link (or maybe you visit us). We are looking to do this on the 19 and
20th June. We are exploring the content of the programme at the moment so
any ideas you may have on this would be appreciated
look forward to hearing from you
    regards
    Norah
