What are student experiences of learning and developing through virtual
group
work? This dynamic workshop will start with the presenters research into
the
student experiences of virtual group work in UK universities, including her
own
experiences as an e-learner. Issues explored include: finding a virtual
voice
and role; time and time management; managing unease, discomfort and
conflict;
learning from online experiences; assessment. Delegates will then have the
opportunity to share and explore their own experiences of working with
collaborative and co-operative virtual learning groups. The focus will be
on
sharing and improving professional practice. Hope to meet with many of you
then.
