ATTN: Seattle Hotel Gone Bankrupt: Camlin Hotel
If you are booked in the Seattle Camlin Hotel downtown please read:
I called to reconfirm my Seattle hotel reservation yesterday and
discovered that the hotel I reserved on Expedia.com went bankrupt over a
month ago. Expedia has not called any of their customers to warn them
and the hotel is not taking responsibility for calling these on-line
customers either. I presume that many people attending the AOM had
booked in this hotel since it was a 3 star hotel right next to the
conference hotels downtown and was booking at a reasonable price. If
you are booked in the Camlin, you should contact Expedia/Camlin
immediately and begin searching for alternative accommodations, the
hotel no longer exists. I was able to secure one of the last rooms at
Summerfield Suites yesterday. Good luck!
