    Call for chapter proposals:
EDUCATING MANAGERS THROUGH REAL WORLD PROJECTS
Eds. Charles Wankel and Robert DeFillippi

This fourth volume in the Research in Management Education and Development
(Information Age Publishers) series will cover innovative uses of learning
projects in management education and development including their use in
online and other new media platforms. Learning projects are defined as
educationally directed activities involving out-of-classroom action settings
complemented by student and/or instructor directed reflection on the links
    between theory and practice.

Each chapter should be grounded in relevant theory, empirical research and
examples of best practice for the selected topic. Appropriate contexts for
chapter proposals include undergraduate, graduate, executive management and
corporate university-based management education and development.

Suggested topics include but are not limited to the following:

    • Action learning
    • Experiential learning
    • Service learning
    • Action science
    • Communities of practice
    • Reflective practice
    • Internships as learning vehicles
    • Cooperative education
