[JR] Would that be for seeking understanding by asking clarifying questions
    instead of applying judgmental labels?

[JR] FWIW, although implicare signifies that the writer can imply 'X' the
fact remains that only the writer knows whether 'X' was intended. No reader
can know whether the writer meant to imply 'X.' Thus, to assert that the
writer implied X is to engage in projections of ones own beliefs on the
    writer.
