    For those arriving on Friday for the Academy meetings, the MED division is
    sponsoring a Welcome Reception for Aspiring, New, and Current MED Members
    in the Ritz Carlton Acadia Room from 6.00pm to 7.30pm (session no. 39 in
    the conference program). Last year's reception was a great time for a good
    number of people (probably about 75 attended) to catch up with old friends
    and make new ones before the conference gets really busy, and we're
    expecting much the same for this year. Hope you can join us!
