    Change
    Applications are invited for the above post in the James Martin Institute at
    the Saïd Business School with effect from as early a date as may be
    arranged. The person appointed will have an exceptional research record in
    the area of science and technology studies and policy with an emphasis on
    technology and society
    The role of the James Martin Institute is to identify science and technology
    issues likely to play especially critical roles in shaping the future world
    of civilisation and to initiate and conduct research directed at finding
    opportunities for humanity to shape a brighter future for itself and the
    natural environment on which it depends. The Saïd Business School, the
    University of Oxford’s business school, is rapidly establishing itself as
    one of Europe’s leading centres for management education. The school offers
    undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with the MBA as its flagship
    programme.
    A nonstipendiary fellowship at Brasenose College is attached to the
    professorship.
