I am looking for a wide response to try to set up a virtual test group as
part of the evaluation process.
Hopefully

Based on 2 real small firms (for instance, a small IT services firm with a
good track record but now keen to grow by diversifying into new activities),
I am developing a technological exercise with colleagues, to support
understanding of the innovation process in a small firm context. This will
be used by masters' students, staff and by those in small and large firms
associated with the university's current projects to help them to develop
their innovation management skills.
This process involves
(a) Providing useful information about the case study
(b) Asking the user to speculate on the best course of action for the firm
to take
(c) Supplying details of the action actually taken by the firm
(d) Asking the user to reflect on the actions taken to compare these with
his or her suggestions - were they better or worse than the steps which the
company actually took?
Please help if possible by identifying what you feel "useful information"
would be - or might include - in this context, i.e., if you were the user
what would you need to know, what would be necessary, essential or desirable
in completing the exercise.
Best wishes
Lynn
