Hi Fellows, something strange happened to the text of the previous email.
Here it is again for you to send to your listservs.

    Dear Colleagues
I am pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2005 SUN Conference
on Teaching and Learning to be held on the campus of the University of Texas
at El Paso on March 4th and 5th, 2005.  This year’s theme; “What are your
students learning—and how do you know?” will allow SUN Conference
Participants to explore the real outcomes of their teaching efforts.
Submissions must be made online at http://cetal.utep.edu/sun/2005/ where
you will find information on submission guidelines, session formats, our
    keynote speakers and much more.
**The deadline for proposals is November 1, 2004.**

The Sun Conference on Teaching and Learning is dedicated to building a
global community of university teachers whose commitment to instructional
excellence transcends disciplinary, cultural, and national barriers.
The focus of the conference is on practical, applied strategies, tools, and
techniques. All university faculty, instructional staff, instructional
developers, and administrators are invited to share their innovative
teaching practices, and to explore with their peers transformative college
    and university teaching methods.
Keynoters STEPHEN EHRMAN and DENNIS JACOBS will share their best ideas for
designing learning environments and understanding results.
We look forward to learning your best ideas when you come visit sunny El
    Paso in March!
