I didn't know Peter Frost but the sensitivity of the writing and the
depth of the feeling came through and rose beyond the screen. It has
given me some sense of how much this man was treasured. Thank you for
    writing so beautifully.

I have been asked to relay the following message to our membership from
several members of our executive committee and colleagues of Peter Frost.

    **************************************************************************

It is with great sadness that we share news of the death of Peter Frost,
who passed away in the early hours of October 18th. He was comfortable and
spent his last hours with his wife, Nola and three children, Paul, Caitlin
and Maeve. He had been diagnosed with melanoma cancer in his lungs just
two months earlier. He will be enormously missed by family and friends,
UBC faculty and students past and present, colleagues throughout the
organizational studies community, and far beyond.

A celebration of Peter's life will be held at the First Nations Longhouse,
UBC on Monday October 25th at 11am. Please go to
    http://isr.sauder.ubc.ca/peterfrost/peter.aspfor more information about
this event and to share your photos and memories of Peter with others.
Also check this webpage for more details of how, in lieu of flowers, you
can contribute to a scholarship fund that is being set up in Peter's name.
