    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
    Department of Business Administration
    University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

    Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position at
    the Associate or Full Professor level in International
    Business (IB) with a teaching and research focus on
    multinational firms, starting in August, 2005. Candidates
    should have a Ph.D., a strong record of scholarly
    accomplishments, and demonstrate the continued potential to
    make significant contributions to the IB field.
    Salary is competitive and, within rank, will depend on
    experience and qualifications.

    The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a world-
    class research institution with outstanding computing and
    library resources. The University is fully committed to
    globalization and offers a wide array of international
    teaching and research programs. The College of Business
    currently houses a federally-funded Center for International
    Business Education and Research (CIBER), Center for
    International Accounting Research, and the editorial office
    for the Elsevier/JAI research series, Advances in
    International Management.

    International Business is one of seven areas of study within
    the Department of Business Administration. The other areas
    are: Business Law, Information Systems, Management
    Science/Process Management, Marketing, Organizational
    Behavior, and Strategy. Previous doctoral placements in
    International Business include faculty appointments at
    Cornell University, INSEAD, Georgia Tech, University of
    Colorado, University of Michigan, University of California-
    Riverside, Brandies University, Wayne State University, City
    University of New York, Yonsei University (Korea), and others.
