    Positions in Administrative Studies

    The Department of Applied Computer Science and Administrative Studies
    at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for two positions in
    Administrative Studies. One position is a tenure track or continuing
    position, and the other is a two-year term position (possibly renewable)
    as either an Assistant Professor or Instructor. Subject to budgetary
    approval, these positions will start on July 1, 2005. Salary will be
    commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Applicants for the rank of Assistant Professor should have a PhD in
    business, or a related area, prior to the starting date of the
    appointment, and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and
    research. Applicants for the rank of Instructor should have a PhD or a
    Master's degree with a professional designation, and university
    teaching experience.

    Preference will be given to candidates with a broad perspective on
    business and its role in society, interdisciplinary interests, and the
    versatility to teach intermediate and advanced levels in one of
    accounting, human resource management, organizational behavior, or
    marketing, and at an introductory level in another of these subject
    areas. There is considerable opportunity for curriculum development in
    response to student demand and faculty interests.
