Just a reminder for MEDers and friends who've not yet heard this news (or
who have heard and not yet gotten around to registering):
This year's MED AOM conference program will begin "unofficially" on
Saturday, August 6 with a division luau at the Paradise Cove.
Transportation will be provided to the luau with busses arriving at the
conference hotels at approximately 4:00 pm (Hilton - PapaTower Bus Depot;
Sheraton - Sheraton Bus Depot) and returning around 10:00. Thanks to our
efficient spending on previous conferences, the MED division is able to
sponsor part of the cost of the social so that the ticket price is $55 a
person.
To register for the luau, call (800) 862-5335 (808-947-2607 for those
outside the United States) and ask for Keli (she should be there except
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if she's not there leave a message) and tell her
you're calling to register for the MED Division Social. She will ask you
for a fax number to which she can send materials regarding the luau which
you will return to her via fax. Spouses, prospective new MED members, and
friends are definitely welcome at this social. Capacity for the social is
limited to 200 people, so be sure to make your reservations soon!
