GOVERNOR OF HAWAI`I TO PARTICIPATE IN ANNUAL MEETING PUBLIC AFFAIRS FORUM
Please join us in welcoming the Honorable Linda Lingle, Governor of Hawai`i,
as she participates in the Academy's first public-affairs forum, to be held
on Monday, August 8 from 8:30am-10:20am in the Hawai`i Convention Center
Room 315. Entitled "Making Public Schools Work: Management Reform as the
Key," the forum reflects the growing interest of the Academy in engaging
issues of vital concern to policy makers and to the public at large. It will
be the first time that a Governor will have taken part in an Academy
meeting.
