FACULTY POSITION IN STRATEGY AND HUMAN RESOURCES
The Charles F. Dolan school of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Management Department starting September 1, 2006. The position is for Assistant/Associate Professor.
The candidate should hold or anticipate a doctoral degree in business strategy or human resource management, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent teaching, scholarship, and University service. We seek someone who can provide evidence of the ability to publish in scholarly journals. A research interest in exploring linkages between the strategy and HR fields will be considered a plus. We also seek colleagues with skill in the design of experiential and project-based learning. Applicants must be capable of teaching general management, strategic management, and human resource management in both our undergraduate and graduate programs.
Fairfield University, an independent Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university, is only one hour from New York City and three hours from Boston. The University's 200-acre campus is situated on Long Island Sound and serves approximately 3,100 full-time and 1,100 part-time undergraduate students, and 750 graduate students.
