Organizational Leadership and Supervision Fall 2006
POSITION: Assistant Professor, 10-month, full-time tenure track. A.S. and B.S. degree programs. Salary and rank commensurate with experience and credentials. Starting date <st1:date month="8" day="15" year="2006">August 15, 2006</st1:date>. Application review begins <st1:date month="1" day="31" year="2006">January 31, 2006</st1:date>, and continues until position is filled.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching responsibilities include leadership and human resource management related courses. Teaching load is 12-14 contact hours per week per semester. Some courses will be in the evenings, others may be at off-campus locations. <st1:place>Opportunity</st1:place> for summer employment. The department currently offers a baccalaureate degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS) in addition to a number of courses that support other campus degree and certificate programs. Preliminary planning is underway to develop a masters level program. Regular duties include academic advising and campus governance. Modest research/scholarly activity appropriate to an institution that is primarily teaching oriented is expected and supported. An individual professional development fund is provided during the first three years of appointment for travel, release time, summer research grants, or other approved requests.
