    Dear Collegues,

Impressed by the volume and quality of responses to Fred's request about change management books and Mark's request about Films relevant to  leadership course, I would like to invite your thoughts on the textbook of organizational behavior used for MBA or other master level students.

In China, the most widely used OB textbook is Organizational Behavior written by Stephen P. Robbins. The 10th edition has been translated in Chinese in 2005, and the 11th edition has also been introduced into China in 2005.

However I am a little curious to know is there any other widely used OB textbook in U.S.A. or Europe for master level students? If any, would you please do me a favor and let me know the book name, author(s) and the publisher. Thanks.

    Best wishes,

I have been using Organizational Behavior, 7th Edition by Ivancevich, et. al. and the students like it a lot.  My students are all Masters' Degree students in the Business School.

I find the Robbins book a bit too elementary for grad students.  However, it works well at the undergrad level.

I would encourage you to take a look at the textbook by John Miner. The book is well written and is appropriate for grad students, though not for undergrad. For undergrad Robbins is appropriate.

    Regards,

    Jack

I don't know how widely used it is, but I believe this one might be
worth a look. I have used my copy extensively and found it very helpful
    in my work.
