Although I don't have cases to share I would recommend another book to use with the Staffing Organizations text:

The Truth About Managing People...and Nothing but the Truth

    Stephen P. Robbins

    ISBN: 0131838474

    Pub. Date: June 2003

    Publisher: Financial Times/Prentice Hall Books

    Format: Paperback, 240pp

It has a number of sections relevant to Recruitment and Selection that you will find useful as well as crisp and to the point.

  • 4.  Support Material on Recruitment and Selection

Last week I responded to a request for "Support Material on Recruitment and Selection" by listing my website which deals with the subject. I thought I was replying to an individual but learned that my message went to the entire list. At this point the site has registered over 80 hits from all over the globe. Because of the degree of interest I have taken time to remove bugs from the site and make a couple recent additions. One of the additions is interesting. It is a symposium paper which had its origins in the old AOM HRNET listserve! If there is interest I will also replace the abbreviated interview guides in the "Guide Library" with completed ones.

I also, want to make it clear that I welcome any Academy members wishing to use the site for teaching or research to do so. But I would like you to be so kind as to inform me of your efforts in this regard, and your results. I also would welcome any comments or critique you may have.
    Thank you for your time.
