980 CAU (CAU) Organizations and Knowledge (OAK) Research Interest Group
Scheduled on Aug 15 2006 from 8:30AM to 10:10AM at Hyatt Regency Atlanta in
the Brussels room
Organizer: William D Schulte, Shenandoah U.
Organizations and Knowledge (OAK) is a group of researchers in various
divisions of the Academy of Management who are interested in forming an
interest group on knowledge management. KM concepts cut across the divisions
of the Academy. There is a need to develop an acceptable domain for KM that
integrates research across the divisions. To that end this caucus will offer
a forum for discussion on relevant theories for KM. In addition, recent
publications focusing on knowledge management will be discussed by editors
and members of editorial review boards on possible outlets for Academy of
Management scholars' research on KM.
Key words: knowledge management theory, publication outlets
