G'day All,
I am just launching a new concept in role play books called Hyperpanofiction. This is an exciting development in storytelling, transforming fiction into a 3D literary maze, a fascinating puzzle to be explored. This innovative format encourages the reader to weave the story themselves by transversing timelines, making critical decisions, alternating main characters, and switching between plots.
The reason I am letting the list know, is that I feel that it has some applications in the Management Education area. For instance, when representing a scenario of a management situation, you can have the same scene shared between the participants, however you can switch from the managers perspective to an employees perspective, to a customers perspective, or an owners perspective. The basics in the dialogue remains the same, however the narration and description changes. It would also be possible to move forwards or backwards in each characters story and timeline, so you can appreciate the cause and effect aspects of decision making and problem solving.
Anyway, I have written a book on how to write a work of Hyperpanofiction and we are launching it this coming weekend in Sydney Australia, its only a small run and at cost price. If however, anyone is interested in the concept, I will be putting up some webnotes and also some examples of Management Education examples, if any one is interested.
Regards
Tony Nolan
