I would like to once more invite everyone to attend the Measuring Value in
Teaching Caucus on Tuesday (8/07) from 8:15 - 10:10 am at the Philadelphia
Convention Center RM 107A.
The objectives of this caucus are .
1. Present a preliminary summary/overview of the research being conducted at
this time and discuss avenues for research in this area.
2. It will look at the effective teaching programs that we have identified and
begin developing a series of pre-conference workshops for AOM 2008. The
ultimate goal is to develop a full day pre-conference consortium on effective
teaching sponsored by the Management in Education Division.
3. We will begin a discussion of what is effective teaching in different
countries/culture.
4. We will conclude with the development of action steps for the next calendar
year.
If you have any research/information that fits in any of these objectives,
please contact me directly at
williamsj@jsu.edu. If you sent an e-mail already
to me and I did not respond, would you please send it again. I seem to have a
gremlin and have lost some messages.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Philadelphia.
