Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am looking for a good Book Review Editor and a good Copy Editor for the International Journal of Organizational Analysis. If you might have an interest in either position, please send me a brief letter along with a copy of your CV. Thanks.
The journal was recently purchased by Emerald in the U.K. and I recently took over as Editor-in-Chief on condition that I would have complete control over all journal content and that I could appoint my own Associate Editors and Editorial Board. The new Associate Editors are Mariann Jelinek (William & Mary), Kenneth D. Mackenzie (Kansas), and Trevor Grigg (Queensland, Australia). The new Editorial Board includes some of the top people in the field from Harvard, Yale, Wharton, McGill, INSEAD, Cornell, MIT, Northwestern, Michigan, Illinois, Berkeley, Duke, and other leading universities. People like Bob Zmud, Founding Editor of Organization Science; Jerry Hunt, former Senior Editor of Leadership Quarterly; and Phil Anderson, currently an Associate Editor of Administrative Science Quarterly. Joe Champoux (New Mexico) is the Film Review Editor and Craig Lundberg (Cornell) will be writing a regular column entitled, "Perplexities." The journal publishes 4 issues/year. The primary duties of the Copy Editor are to provide quick turn around on manuscripts. The primary duties of the Book Review Editor are to provide 4-5 reviews for each issue. Reviews may be solicited from others.
I look forward to hearing from a few of you.
Yours sincerely,
Larry
Larry Pate, Editor-in-Chief
