I would like to invite you to take part in a short online research
survey. My name is Debbie Johnston, and I am an MBA student at the
University of Liverpool. My dissertation is focused on an investigation
into virtual classroom cultures in both academic and corporate settings,
and the objective of my study is to develop new insights which will be
helpful to distance learning designers and instructors.

Anyone who has taken or taught at least one instructor-facilitated
distance learning course at the post-secondary level or in a corporate
setting is eligible to participate in this research. The survey is
anonymous and will only take about 20 minutes to complete.

If you might be willing to share your opinions and insights to contribute
to this research, please visit my website at
    www.bluebirdlearning.com/research.html. There you will find a high-level
overview of my study, as well as links to the online survey (which will be
    accessible until February 20, 2008).

Thank you very much for your valued assistance.
