AOM Mg-Ed-Dv listserve participants,
Please forgive me if this is not the correct format, this is the first time I have tried to use this service.
My reason for contacting you is that all of my traditional methods of finding existing research on my current topics have proved fruitless, so I am asking if any of you could give me some direction. I have been told by numerous colleagues in multiple disciplines that the premise of what I am working with is logical and generally accepted, but they have been no help in finding existing documentation.
The two topics I am inquiring about have to do with (1) peer (student) validation of traditional classroom test performance and (2) difference of means in test performance between specific groups of students within the same classroom. I have documented a positive correlation between peer reviews and traditional test scores in various management classes, and also separate difference of means in test scores between Associate and Bachelor students in a dual-listed management class. This data has been collected for years, but now that I am summarizing it I have been unable to find foundation data to use in my writing.
Any direction you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dean Porr
