    I've pretty much finished up a paper that takes a control theory view of managerial performance. It's titled "Managerial Performance" and I'd like to get some comments before seeing to its publication. The paper, in pdf format, can be found at the following URL:

    Looking forward to hearing from at least some of you...

    I'd be especially interested in ways the paper could be improved.

    Hi Fred - there is a truly vast literature on this going back over 50 years in the system dynamics field, connecting to the early work of Herbert Simon, bounded rationality etc. etc. Also, chapter 8 in 'Strategic Management Dynamics' - http://www.wiley.com/go/smd/ - takes a simple business-level view of the ideas for MBA teaching.
