Dear Academy of Management Management Education and Development Division,
I'm AOM member end I¹m glad to inform you the Publishing house I work for in
Spain (Planeta DeAgostini Group) has put me in charge of a book (which we
have been preparing for several month and will be published in October)
addressed to Hispanics who need to choose and get information on the most
suitable MBA program for meeting their needs (in any language and country)
Within this context, I¹d really appreciate your's help in adding our
colleagues and personalities¹ expert opinions. We request them to ask
this short survey of 7 questions.
In exchange, we will include their names on the book¹s acknowledgements
(published in Spain and America, having a potential market of 300 million
readers) and we will send them copy of the tabular data answers. Due to the
relevance of their opinions, it¹s possible we quote them along the book (for
this, we need their names and positions).
Please transfer the Survey to your data base (of course, you are invited to
answer it). Deadline for the answers reception is September 26th. I truly
appreciate your's assistance in this matter.
Please answer the following questions:
1. In your opinion, which is the most relevant quality an MBA aspirant
should have?
2. In your opinion, how valuable is currently having an MBA degree in your
country?
3. Which specializations are the most valuable in your country?
4. In your opinion, which is the most important course in an MBA degree?
5. What is in your opinion the greatest personal and market rewards a MBA or
a graduate person obtains?
6. From 1 to 10, how do you think businesses value to have personnel with
MBA degrees?
7. According to you, which is the weakest area of MBA graduates today?
Best regards,
Francisco J. Garrido
