A feature common to many listserv lists is the use of reply
function to respond to prior posts or to post new messages.
When using reply function, however, all content in the prior
post will be reposted. This often means that a comment with
only one or two sentences will be followed by the entire
repeat of a lengthy message. A message that was interesting
and useful the first time out has less value as a repeat.
May I suggest greater care with use of reply function to post
the list ?
