Hello,

I am looking for information (pro-con) regarding the issue of bilingual
education in the school system and in the work environment. Articles?
Summaries? The issue may have impact on implementing change and organizational
development.

For the "con" side, I'd search through the Wall St. Journal op-ed pages. I
recall some articles on it just this past month. Good luck.

There's a mountain of stuff out there. Check "First Search." If you don't have
access to that, then Social Science Index in your library. Then any search
engine with the term "bilingual education." See back issues of Academe, Phi Delta
Kappan, Harvard Educational Review, etc., etc. For anti views, Heritage
Foundation and others like it. Practically every School of Ed. in major US
universities has a publication; each of those should at some time had some
articles, studies, etc. And there's always the Chronicle of Higher Education
and the NY Times. You'll be inundated.
