Greetings and apologies in advance for any cross posting.

This is a reminder that we will be presenting a session called Innovative and Experiential Approaches to Teaching HR (session 68) at the upcoming AOM meeting during the PDW sessions (information below). We have been doing this experiential session for several years with great success and we welcome your participation. I always leave with a new nugget or two to take back to my classroom! See you in Seattle!

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM CDT on Friday, 5 August

The purpose of this professional development workshop (PDW) is to offer AOM members the opportunity to learn innovative and experiential approaches to teaching topics in human resources. This interactive session is comprised of two parts. First, the session begins with presentations of 2021 Innovative Teaching Award winners, recognizing their achievements. They will present effective and innovative ways to teach human resources. Next, a diverse panel of faculty from different universities will share experiential approaches to teaching human resources for the audience of all levels (undergraduate, graduates, professional students). In this highly interactive 'potluck' session, attendees will have the opportunity to choose a topic of their interests (e.g., compensation, diversity, staffing, etc.) and to learn about innovative teaching methods experientially in round tables each led by one or two members of the panel. This workshop will provide the audience opportunities to expand their repertoire of experiential exercises that they can implement immediately into their classrooms.
