    Dear AOM Annual Meeting Attendees:

We are delighted to invite you to join our Professional Development Workshop (PDW) on

TEACHING WITH TECHNOLOGY: IN THE SHADOW OF AI (Session 149)

Friday, August 04, 01:00 PM - 03:00 PM, Public Garden, Sheraton Hotel.

What unites us as members of the AOM is our collective role as management educators and a shared dedication to enhancing student learning. AI is presenting fresh challenges and opportunities with the potential to fundamentally transform management education. That's why this PDW is so timely. In this context, we need both understanding and practical value in the form of pragmatic approaches and solutions. Join us for this workshop to bring your own concerns and insights and share in the valuable toolkit offered by teaching, learning, and technology experts. Your participation will equip you to better navigate the complexities of AI in management education, and be future-ready for the emerging educational landscape.

The widespread arrival of easily available AI has turbocharged management education and demands that we ask new questions and find new answers. This PDW is divided into four areas:

    · Understanding AI: Challengers for learners, educators, and institutions

      • Prof Mairead Brady, Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland

    · Faculty's readiness for (un)accepting AI in Education

      • Prof Leonardo Caporarello,  SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan, Italy

    · Student readiness: Running in the shadows

      • Prof Anna Holland, University of Surrey, Surrey, England

    · Landing on or crashing into Management Education? Mapping the Future of AI

      • Prof Martin R. Fellenz, IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland

Join us for this enriching experience, where we will challenge conventional thinking and spark innovation in our approach to AI use in management education. Reserve your spot now and collaborate in creating the future of management education.
